The perfect location for this family portrait was at Avant Gardens. The wild flowers were plentiful and created a dreamy atmosphere for the session. This location provided opportunity for raspberry picking, dragon fly chasing and story-time among many other interesting experiences had. I love being able to watch a child’s imagination at work and the connection between parent and child. My favorite images aren’t necessarily the posed big smiles, they’re the moments in between, where you see a little glimmer in a child’s eye as they see a dragon fly float over them, or the silly faces made at family members. I really do enjoy creating a setting to capture families as they really are.
