It’s midweek and the weather has turned coooooold. I’m currently in two sweaters, and dreaming of a Temple mocha. What do you do to warm up during these frigid months? Hot bath? Electric blanket? Trip to Florida? Anyway…
This week I’m featured on BP4U. Be sure to check it out because it has a few images that I’ve been keeping secret until our big news…which we are now projecting to be released in January. Since we’ve bought our dream house, we’ve also had to push back some other projects to make time for renovations. But it’s okay! I’m enjoying every minute of it. Even the shoe wearing – dog “accidentally” peeing inside daily – scary bathroom – dry wall dust everywhere… moments.
Here’s an image shown on the BP4U blog… alright stop reading and go see >> The Whimsy Tree Featured
As winter approaches I would love to book more newborn sessions. Now that we have a great big farm house, I have the perfect set up for newborn sessions. Know someone expecting?! I’d love if you would refer me! 🙂
This scripture inspired this image…
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13
Today was a perfect day for editing as it rained for most of it. As I’m writing this, the sun is getting ready to set and what a beautiful end to a rainy day. I’m listening to the Walter Mitty soundtrack (have you seen the movie?!) and editing a bit more of last night’s family session… this one’s drenched in sunshine.
This image for some reason makes me think of God’s love… and how He really does pour it on us…like sunshine streaming down.
I love this family. I’ve been able to photograph them several times now and see the little one’s grow. I love how sweet this momma is, and what a precious moment to capture. More to come!

Nothing says ‘end of summer’ like an apple orchard, overalls, goldenrod, and sunshine. It’s a beautiful end to the summer. I’m glad for another season though, and I’m welcoming fall, maybe even embracing it.
This little fellow has to be one of the happiest babies I’ve ever met. And those blue eyes…oh my!
