This little lady has to be one of the most adorable babies ever! I made a little dress for her 9 month session, out of a vintage sheet and vintage table runner. She looked like a little doll with her vintage bonnet and flutter sleeves. While she felt a little out of place in the grassy Norwayne Field, with the help of some cheerleaders, we made the best of her absolute cuteness and lovely sunset lighting.

If you haven’t check out Villa Nova Pizzeria in New Buffalo, add it to your list of places to eat while in Harbor Country. Here’s a project we just finished up last month. We photographed their catering menu, and designed the menu as well. Keep up with them on Facebook for specials! And don’t forget to try the cannoli’s!

This was one cold afternoon, but little Adeline was a trooper. My uncle’s property was the perfect location for this spunky little commercial shoot with the snowflake dress from The Measure. Miss Adeline was playing a bit bashful at first but she did warm up and give into that twirling temptation. I love a good twirling dress myself!

It’s nearing 2013 and I thought it would be appropriate to take a look back at 2012. I’m so blessed to have such great clients, and its always wonderful to meet and work with so many different families. The good Lord blessed me with another great year and I’m eagerly anticipating all that the new year brings.

When The Measure asked if I would be interested in creating a commercial fairy shoot with her wings, and a halo provided by Maya’s Curls, I just couldn’t help myself. I had to do it! If you know my work, you’ve seen all sorts of “scenes”, so the idea of a fairy scene was thrilling! After some deep thought, I envisioned a forest star scene, which took lots of time to create… cutting out each star, hanging, and then spray painting them, but the scene came out wonderful. All the gold and glitter went well with the gorgeous fall backdrop. Annika was the perfect little fairy model, and I think she had a blast playing the role of a fairy. Do fairies dream of glitter in their sleep? Because I think she will be.
